When researching or iterating, creating separate slots for every file version can clutter your gallery. FlowJoe resolves this with Stacks—allowing you to bundle multiple assets into a single card.

How Stacks Work

A Stack is a single gallery slot that contains multiple overlapping files.
  • Active Item: The top card of the stack is the active item. Its preview, title, and size dictate the slot display.
  • Cycling: Click the Left/Right arrow indicators to cycle through items.
  • Slot notes stability: The notes written on the slot card remain visible regardless of which stack item is active, keeping comparative analysis unified.

Stack Operations

Right-click a slot or select multiple slots to manage stacks:
  • Create Stack: Drag a file directly on top of an existing slot, or select multiple slots, right-click, and select Merge into Stack.
  • Extract Item: Right-click the active stack item and select Extract from Stack to split it out as an independent slot.
  • Flatten Stack: Splitting a stack expands all items into individual slots in the gallery.
  • Consolidate: Joe can automatically stack generated drafts or variants behind a primary card using the consolidateSlotsIntoStack verb.
  • Copy one item: Joe can copy one item out of a stack into its own slot beside the stack, leaving that item in the stack.

Reordering Stack Contents

Hovering over a stack slot displays thumbnail previews of the layers.
  • Change Order: Drag and drop thumbnails to reorder the stack hierarchy.
  • Promote to Top: Click any thumbnail to promote that item to the active top slot.
  • Individual Deletion: Click the delete icon on a thumbnail to remove it from the stack without deleting other elements.
